The all new Mercedes-Benz A-Class will be bolstered in Europe and the UK. This will include the addition of a new plug-in hybrid variant.
It will arrive in the UK “early next year”. It will rival the Audi A3 3-tron which does not consist new PHEV system, though it will be contested.
The Mercedes Benz A Class consists of:
- 163 bhp (121 kW)
- A 1.3 liter four cylinder petrol engine
- A 90 bhp (67kW) electric motor
The combustion engine turns the front wheels, while the electric motor drives the rear axle, providing all-wheel drive.
A plug-in hybrid power-train in Mercedes-Benz’s small car. All electric models are dedicated to EVs like Volkswagen’s I.D. family.
All-new models will be labeled ‘EQA’ while the production version would produce 200 kW and boast a driving range of around 400 km per charge.
