BMW to Open New Plant

In order to produce around 150,000 cars per year, BMW to Open New Plant. It has announced a new plant Opening in Hungary. Employ around 1000 people and cost roughly €1 billion ($ 1.6 billion) to construct.When the plant will start operation or which models it will produce hasn’t been announced. According to the BMW, it is adding another European factory to its roster. As a result sales on the continent accounted for almost 45 percent of its volume in 2017.

The new factory will be able to produce models with traditional internal combustion engines. BMW says its existing European factories will also be upgraded in near future. So far eight factories are operated in Germany, one in Austria, three in the UK.
